The lower part of the conical rhyton is covered with rising wavy lines, from which tall flowers emerge. The six birds' bodies have double contours and are filled with arcs, chevrons and semicircles.
It is painted in an elaborate floral and fringed style that has no good parallels yet and may indicate a strong local school.
