Stable isotope data fall in a zone where different source areas (i.e. Paros, Thasos, Marmara, Carrara, Hymettus, Göktepe, Aphrodisias, Afyon, Naxos, Pentelikon) overlap and the data are inconclusive. The color of luminescence, the texture and the MGS are in accordance with Marmara as the marble origin.
