It is impossible to determine the origin of the marble used for this sculpture as no comparable reference material exists in our data bank. The isotopic signature of this marble falls outside the isotopic field of marbles from Ephesos where this artefact was found. However, the MGS and the isotopic values match with those of Milet marbles.
