Maximum grain size: 1.98 mm
δ18OV-PDB: -2.08 ‰
δ13CV-PDB: 2.39 ‰
Cathodoluminescence color: brown-red
Cathodoluminescence intensity: weak

Stable isotopes data fall in a zone where different source areas (i.e. Paros, Thasos, Marmara, Carrara, Afyon, Göktepe) overlap and the data are inconclusive. However, the texture and the dark purple color of luminescence support Marmara as the origin of this marble. A Macedonian provenance of this marble is not neglected. The isotopic values fall in the zone of the Vermion marbles. Our data bank does not contain cathodomicrofacies of these marbles and isotopic signature is insufficient to establish the provenance.
