The statuette represents a young girl wearing  a V-neck tunic, bracelets and earrings (now lost). Her arms are raised in a gesture of adoration. 

The statuette may have been offered to a goddess at the celebration of a girl's passage to womanhood, or placed on this occasion in a domestic shrine.
