The relief originally made of bronze depicts a kneeling warrior drawing his bow. The bearded man wears a short chiton with an ornate hem decorated with rhomboid patterns, and tall boots, a large quiver hanging on his side. He is probably Heracles, not yet wearing the skin of the Nemean lion, which would become his attribute later. The framed figure was embossed on the bronze sheet; the background was cut off, while inner details were engraved. It may have originally been fastened onto a base made of a different material.
