The terracotta relief depicts a banqueting man, with a bowl in his left hand. These reliefs are mostly characteristic of the city of Taras, which were made by thousands in the 6th–4th centuries BC. These were votive gifts: they are recovered not only from the sanctuaries of the city but also from its cemeteries.
