Texture: heteroblastic
Maximum grain size (MGS): 0.70 mm
δ18OV-PDB: -3.04 ‰ -3.31 ‰ -3.51 ‰
δ13CV-PDB: 2.05 ‰ 2.58 ‰ 2.45 ‰
Cathodoluminescence color: blue pink

Stable isotope data fall in a zone where different source areas (i.e. Marmara, Paros, Hymettus, Naxos, Afyon, Göktepe, Carrara, Thasos, Aphrodisias, Pentelikon) overlap and the data are inconclusive. The texture and the color of luminescence support Paros as the origin of this marble. However, the small size of the analysed sample may cause doubts to a Parian provenance.
