Stable isotope data fall in a zone where different source areas (i.e. Marmara, Paros, Aphrodisias, Afyon, Naxos) overlap and the data are not conclusive. However, the MGS, the texture and the brown-pink color of luminescence support Paros-Choriodaki as the origin of this marble.

The texture, the MGS and the cathodomicrofacies are in accordance with Carrara as the marble origin. The isotope data do not match any with the Carrara data.
