Stable isotope data fall in a zone where different source areas (i.e. Paros, Marmara, Göktepe, Carrara, Hymettus, Naxos, Aphrodisias) overlap and the data are inconclusive. The texture and the cathodomicrofacies differ with those of these marbles. The marble of our data bank which present a similar characteristic pattern is the Doliana marble.
